Saelem X Street Church Music: NO L Cover Art Illustration
Illustration, Animation and Design done for a recent release.
Saelem is a fast-rising alternative gospel music artist who has released notable songs such as C.S.O.G in collaboration with DJ Horphuray, and Nu, a song from his latest EP For The Lost Ones Who Found Jesus. I was commissioned by Saelem and his team to create a cover art illustration, animation and promotional materials for his release No L in collaboration with Street Church Music, a sister organization to Street Church.

As the visual direction was determined before the project began, I commenced with the character sketch of Saelem and after a few rounds of revisions was able to come to a preferred sketch. I then moved on to rendering the sketch, adding details to the environment and adjusting the lighting. I was able to provide a finished product that was suitable for use by the client.
I then created a series of promotional materials to help the client promote the release of the song No L. These assets include teaser cover mockups as seen above and animated teaser clips for social media as seen below. There was no use of generative AI in the project, and the following software were used for the illustration and animation portions of the project: Photoshop for Illustration and preparing the character for animation in Moho, Moho for character animation, After Effects for Compositing and Premiere Pro for sound design.
